We have an excellent opportunity at our Bassetts Belfast (Boucher Place) branch for a dedicated and enthusiastic Showroom Consultant to support the trade counter. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for contributing to and exceeding customer expectations whilst supporting the achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling products.

Showroom Consultant - Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establish customer requirements and generate a genuine interest in products.
  • Proactively develop new sales opportunities.
  • Provide customer with a detailed and agreed specification of their requirements and a quotation for the same.
  • Ensure all quotations are followed up to maximise all sales opportunities.
  • Merchandise within the showroom, ensuring all products are properly stocked and presented at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote maximum efficiency within the department.

Experience Required/Criteria:

  • Evidence of previous success in a sales based role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and professional personality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A strong team player, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate experience of working on their own initiative
