We have an excellent opportunity for a confident relationship builder with strong external sales experience and relevant bathroom products knowledge. We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to look after a network of our merchant, contract and retail customers within the local region. This role is critical to the success of the area and region in achieving the key business objectives in terms of sales and margin growth.

What are we looking for in an Area Sales Manager?

To be considered for the position, you will need:

  • Proven sales experience. It would be advantageous if you have gained this experience within a building materials merchant, the construction industry or from within a similar product distribution sector.
  • An articulate, numerate and well presented manner, being able to negotiate at all levels from site manager to senior buyer.
  • An organised and enthusiastic personality, with a real sense of energy and presence.
  • Knowledge of the industry and our bathroom related products would be an advantage.
  • Excellent IT, budgetary and report writing skills.

What will you be doing as an Area Sales Manager with Ideal Bathrooms?

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be required to:

  • Develop new business opportunities and build upon existing relationships with our key customers.
  • Have a great focus on supplier engagement and feedback.
  • Continually review, evaluate and build upon your own performance.
  • Gain experience in preparing action plans to improve Sales.
  • Compile and analyse sales figures.
  • Evaluate and report on all changes in the local market conditions, identifying new business opportunities (i.e. commercial range, product gaps, competitor activity) and marketing opportunities.
  • Ensure your own product knowledge is continually up to date with all our current deals and offers.
