Partnership Account Manager – Jewson Partnership Solutions - Covering South West

We are a specialist arm of SGBD and our Public Sector team has a wealth of experience and expertise in successfully delivering materials supply contracts, for both reactive and planned maintenance, generating efficiencies and providing value for money to our customers. Our complete offer is provided through five long-established and customer-focused UK businesses:

Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with the business to support the delivery of a customer and profitable growth strategy, improving effectiveness across key account customers whilst identifying continued sales opportunities

The successful candidate will be the primary contact for designated customer accounts across the business, ensuring they receive excellent service at all times and continuously expanding on our customer offer.

You will also provide improved business solutions that drive delivery of continuous improvement from the business to the customer across designated accounts, through collaboratively working to deliver business tools and processes to support enhanced sales performance. Furthermore, by working collaboratively across the business to support the delivery of the sales strategy, you'll deliver an exceptional customer experience to improve our market position

We need someone who understands the importance of customers and wants to improve the business' results through getting our service offer right first time. Along with solid commercial experience, you must be open minded with strong problem solving skills and be happy to constructively challenge the 'status-quo', therefore offering balanced solutions to accommodate a fast moving market whilst maintaining business controls at all times

The following skills/experience would be desirable:

  • Proven ability of delivering customer results through working effectively with others.
  • Proven ability to turn data analysis into profit.
  • Results orientated with highly developed commercial acumen.
  • Experience of delivering cross functional projects.
