George Boyd is the one-stop shop for all your Architectural Ironmongery needs, offering an extensive product range alongside a dedicated estimating and scheduling service for both Ironmongery and Commercial Doorset projects alike. What impact will I have in this role?

As Branch Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing successful relationships with local customers and suppliers, ensuring we maintain and drive our commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times. We can’t just expect sales to drop in our lap however, so you’ll need to be confident in approaching new customers and proactively driving opportunities for the branch and wider business.

Your key day-to day duties as Branch Manager will include:

  • Proactively developing and maintaining strong effective relationships with local customers and suppliers.
  • Managing and leading a team of colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Monitoring KPIs for the branch and looking for new ways to innovate and drive growth for the business.
  • Controlling stock levels appropriately to reduce shrinkage and transport costs.
  • Ensuring the branch operates safely and efficiently according to Saint Gobain’s Safety and Wellbeing principles.

  • Ironmongery product knowledge – desirable, but training can be provided.
