Our ambitious Jewson Leighton Buzzard team are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Manager who prides themselves on delivering first class service and who can really make a difference. In this exciting role, you’ll manage the internal sales team to maximise profitability for the branch, building successful working relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers alike to ensure we consistently deliver excellent customer service.

As a Customer Service Manager with Jewson, you will:

  • Manage the sales team to deliver an excellent customer experience, working towards key Branch profit and sales targets.
  • Generate customer interest; receive customers in branch, answer telephone enquiries and visit customer sites to cultivate interest in the product range.
  • Develop new and lapsed customer accounts, building strong effective relationships for the business.
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion, supporting with stocktake activities to assist where necessary.
  • Understand local market issues and manage customer feedback to continuously improve customers’ experience with Jewson.

  • Have demonstrable management experience within a face to face sales role, ideally within a similar industry (although full training will be provided).
  • Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and goals through team leadership.
  • Are comfortable using Microsoft Office software with impeccable organisation skills.
  • Are able to provide a strong customer service experience and act as an ambassador for the brand.
  • Above all, have a 100% dedication to going the extra mile and delivering superior customer service.
