This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our passionate and knowledgeable team. The area will cover South London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent and you’ll report to the Regional Manager so will be based within those areas to ensure efficient travel.


This role is working with Ecophon-Saint Gobain where you will be responsible for engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders throughout the building process from the specification of high performance, value added systems, through to negotiation, order placement and project management.


In the role as an Area Sales Manager you will:


  • Maintain and grow profitable sales revenues, achieving targets specifically set for the area.
  • Be responsible for close management of projects from concept to successful completion, liaising with all project stakeholders, acting as a conduit for information between client, site and specifier.
  • Identify and develop strategic regional and national accounts.
  • Develop and present acoustic / design concepts to specifiers and end-users, utilizing traditional and on-line marketing materials as well as various social media channels.
  • Utilize a CRM system to capture customer and project intelligence.
  • Negotiate with decision makers at all levels within commercial guidelines.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;


  • Experience in specification / business to business sales from ideally the Construction industry.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written with excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage and influence.
  • The ability to manage and develop your client base with a proven sales records.
  • Be highly self-motivated and able to work with autonomy as well as being part of a team.
  • Be computer literate and with knowledge of CRM systems.
