How will you support us?   

As an Area Sales Manager/Account Manager you will develop and implement a targeted sales plan for the agreed geographical area, to deliver market share and a preferential product mix at best possible price through team work across channels, functions, the wider business and active engagement with trade customers. This role will be covering a patch across the East of England and Buckinghamshire. Therefore, someone based around the Milton Keynes area would be well suited to travel.

 

On a typical day to day basis, we expect you to;

  • Implement area plans, including the negotiation of trading terms for independent accounts, discussions with Sub Contractors and to deliver the best possible balance of volume, product mix and profitability.
  • Manage regional product performance issues within regional structure
  • Develop and implement new product area plans, to deliver sales in line with our Product Leadership objectives
  • Be the focal point for the exchange of information between customers, sales teams and other departments so that up to date information is available to all parties and a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To be suitable for the Area Sales Manager/Account Manager role you will have:  

  • Proven experience within a similar role of field sales experience
  • Proven experience of strong account and relationship management
  • The energy and drive to engage your customers
  • The confidence and tenacity to deal with all levels of people and drive your sales
  • A full UK/clean licence
