We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join Kaimann, based in Oldham. We’re looking for someone to create strong relationships by working closely collaboratively new and existing distribution partners, to develop the market/brand for Kaimann products and services within the segments Refrigeration, HVAC, Industry, OEM and Marine. You will deliver technical presentations and application benefits to specifiers and contractors, to influence and win specifications to generate business opportunities for our distribution network. if you come from a sale background and have experience in the thermal insulation/construction products industry, this could be the opportunity for you!


Main responsibilities:

  • Delivery of annual revenue and development of new target accounts within the geographical area
  • To ensure all distributors and key merchants (branches and sales personnel) are managed by creating new business opportunities (projects) in line with agreed visit frequencies and account development plans.
  • To ensure specialist Sub-Contractor & consultant relationships are strengthened and extended through influencing & facilitation of project specifications and technical support for elastomeric insulation.
  • Negotiation of annual terms and special support agreements with key accounts, existing and new accounts within the geographical area.
  • Participate in a monthly Area Management & Development meeting to manage, monitor and identify next steps for all account & business development activities within CRM
  • To record, monitor and manage all accounts, contacts, projects and actions within CRM on a daily basis to ensure regular and effective communication across all relevant functions
  • Undertake any other duties as may be required by your Line Manager or the Executive team, consistent with the scope of the job.
  • To adhere to all SG Insulation UK and Saint-Gobain policies and procedures and ensure that you respect these with regard to, though not limited to, health and safety, the elimination of waste and care for the environment, equality of opportunity and the prevention of fraud.

What we’re looking for in an Area Sales Manager at Kaimann:

  • Sales Professional – Industry, Distribution, Contractor and Project Sales in the wider field of thermal insulation / construction products.
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems experience
  • A practiced sales person who is highly customer focused, able to anticipate and adapt to customer needs and expectations and develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • A good team player internally and externally
  • Practical and technical knowledge of thermal insulation and construction products, specification and project tender process.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
