Our Gibbs & Dandy Leicester branch is a well-established, busy site with a friendly team who pride ourselves on our local knowledge. We strive to offer great customer service and excellent product knowledge to our variety of customers, throughout our sales office, warehouse and trade counter. 

What you’ll be doing as a Security & Customer Service Officer:

  • Checking goods, vehicle and customers as they leave our site
  • Maintain security and safety standards across the site
  • General gatehouse security
  • Supporting health & safety in the branch
  • Advising customers on product ranges, and finding solutions for their projects
  • Supporting the general operation of the branch

So, what are we looking for?

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; this means that we are open to applications from all Saint-Gobain businesses and would welcome you to apply if you can demonstrate the following key skills:

  • Previous security experience in a merchant/retail environment – understanding of potential losses that can occur.
  • Strong customer service experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of building products/previous construction experience (desirable).
  • A can-do and flexible attitude to support the needs of the branch as necessary.

A forklift licence would be also be an advantage, however it’s not essential, as we can organise training for you.
