In the role as a Purchasing Manager you will be;
Responsible for the raw material category spend.
Strategically handle any critical Supply Chain changes or situations.
Communicate and maintain close working relationship with Saint-Gobain Global Purchasing & UK Professional Services.
Ensure Supply Chain strategy meets the requirements of TS16949.
Responsible for current and new supplier contracts.
Develop and mentor Purchasing team.

For the Purchasing Manager specifically it is important that you have:
CIPs Level 6.
It would be highly desirable if you have an automotive background.
Significant experience of working in a senior Supply Chain role.
With excellent customer focus and a passion for mentoring and developing people, you will be a valuable team member who can equally work independently.
Be able to travel internationally as some global travel will be required for the role to visit suppliers.
