You will support the wider Commercial team to provide high quality support to the management, customers and external contracts. The team you’ll join are friendly, fun and supportive-you’ll be actively encouraged to develop your skills and grow into your career in a positive environment. 

 Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To support the management of Pricing / Customer Terms / External Contract Supportin conjunction with the Commercial Services Director and the Pricing Manager.
  • To support the introduction of new products to Minster’s chosen markets at pricing levels which are to the full benefit of the Minster business.
  • To identify trends and opportunities for the maximising of margin through the analysis of pricing data.
  • To produce and present recommendations for price/terms points for products.
  • To ensure the commercial team are updated on competition trends and price points.
  • To constantly monitor and review the competitive pricing of Minster’s product portfolio.
  • To support the review process of Minster’s backdrop terms and pricing bands.

 What we’re looking for in a Pricing Analyst:

  • Able to manage multiple workloads
  • Experience and knowledge of building materials sales and products preferable
  • Proven ability to work well and motivate working teams
  • Ability to network both within internal and external teams
  • Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Clear understanding of the principles of terms management

 Overall, we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate the above and make an impact on the team. If you’re punctual, reliable, and have a proactive attitude to working, you could be what we’re looking for.

The working hours for this role will be

Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm or 8am – 4.30pm.

Your first 2 weeks will be based in our Coventry Head Office, after this period it will be up to you whether you work from the office or at home, but we expect you will be required in the office for meetings between 2-4 times a month.
