A truly exciting time to join us here at Saint-Gobain as we prepare to embark on our new Digital Transformation project. Saint-Gobain is a global leader in the construction industry with a presence in over 67 countries. As a Digital App Development Manager you will be Responsible for the development of all consumer-facing (B2B, B2C & B2B2C) Digital assets, including websites, eCommerce, mobile apps, IoT & specialist applications) to support new revenue generation through diversification

The successful candidate will deliver new Digital concepts for products and services that meet SGBD’s strategic goals in order to deliver a world class customer experience and a digitally engaged workforce, working with both your own team and partners

So if you…

  • Have significant experience of delivering enterprise-grade digital solutions in a national or international multi-site business
  • Extensive experience and understanding of agile methodologies – able to demonstrate continuous improvement within teams and regular high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering digital development projects as a scrum master, project manager, or a work-stream lead through the entire delivery lifecycle
  • It is essential your experience includes working with and managing external partners or suppliers and with product owners to deliver using agile delivery methods. Familiarity working with nearshore or off-shore resources in blended teams to deliver planned work to target is a core competence
  • Deep understanding of digital technology and a genuine interest in eBusiness trends in the marketplace, and a track-record of integrating front end digital solutions into a range of integrated services to drive rapid benefit realisation and business performance improvements.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively, this includes influencing and negotiating with suppliers, stakeholders and partners to define and deliver a demanding roadmap
  • Strong understanding of Digital technologies and tooling, including the latest Javascript frameworks, CSS, optimisation tools, MVT and A/B
  • A good understanding of CRM and master data management would be highly relevant
