This role is working with British Gypsum, part of the Saint-Gobain group, and the UK’s leading manufacturer of interior lining systems. Our mission is to develop innovative products and services that help customers build better spaces to live, work and play.

What impact will you have in this role?

In this role you will develop and deliver British Gypsum’s Corporate Campaigns to raise the profile of the British Gypsum brand. To do this effectively you will need to:

  • Have responsibility for developing and curating the content for the BG corporate campaigns including :
    • Advocacy on key topics current within the construction products sector
    • Sustainability of our own operations and the positive impact our products and systems can have when used on building projects
    • Attracting and retaining diverse talent from our local communities including community engagement, employer brand development and our overall approach to Corporate Social Responsibility.

What kind of person are we looking for? 

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. In addition to the five Saint-Gobain attitudes we shared at the start, suitability for the role is always key – to perform well in this position you will also have a proven background in;

  • Project management to ensure the content you develop and curate for the BG corporate campaigns encapsulate the developments from within our portfolio.
  • Experimenting with and implementing various communication strategies and plans to achieve targeted results through a range of media channels.
  • Delivering campaigns that achieve set KPI’s and demonstrate a Return on marketing investment to the business.
  • Have experience of working with the media and journalists.  Advocating for CSR initiatives and sustainability industry experience.
