Marketing Executive (12 Month FTC) – International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) – Stoke, Staffordshire

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our IDS Stoke team. Reporting to the Marketing & E-Commerce Manager, you’ll support all marketing activities and assist in the managing of promotional literature/communications for all customers and market sectors. You’ll also be required to take ownership over key non-digital activities across the entire marketing mix, such as exhibitions, brochures and PR.

Please note, this is a temporary maternity cover role (12 month FTC) with the possibility of extension or further opportunities within the wider business.

As a Marketing Executive with IDS, you will:

  • Support the Sales Team with all promotional activity and marketing communications going out to IDS customers and market sectors.
  • Ensure both the business and our customers are kept up to date with all relevant marketing activities.
  • Explore new and innovative ways to present our products to motivate customers to choose IDS over the competition.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing activities to help coordinate ongoing relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the running of new product launches and effective management of exhibitions/events.

  • Possess previous Marketing experience.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Powerpoint etc.).
  • Are naturally self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a busy team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to sell new ideas and solve problems before escalation.
  • Are highly organised, with a great attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
