We are seeking someone with an interest in IT Support and strong customer service skills to provide first line IT support to our colleagues across the UK as a Service Desk Analyst – your strong customer service skills along with your IT knowledge will enable you to provide the right level of service, and we will train you to understand the technical side as needed – don’t worry some of our best advisors came to us with just a basic level of IT understanding.

How will you support us?

This role is working within our in-house IT team, based in Huddersfield where you will be responsible for supporting your colleagues all across the UK with IT queries, investigating issues and achieving a high level of customer service at all times.

The role operates Monday to Friday between 07:00am – 18:00pm with just one half Saturday a month (don’t worry you get an extra afternoon off that week!).

In the role as Service Desk Analyst you will;

• Support all 1st line IT queries for all Saint Gobain employees
• Answer calls and logging calls on our ticketing system (Service Now) promptly and in a professional service led manner
• Provide an efficient and personalised support service to our customers
• Wherever possible, resolve and close calls at the point of first contact
• Managing customer expectations

• Strong customer service skills, resolving queries at first point
• An interest in working within an IT based environment, preferably some experience working in an IT role
• Advantage experience in Service Now or ticket systems
• Excellent communication and people skills
• An analytical mind-set, and ability to seek solutions to problems
