How will you support us?

This role is working with Saint-Gobain Technology services (SGTS) where you will be responsible for supporting the business with answering IT queries, investigating issues and achieving a high level of customer service at all times. The role covers shifts between Monday and Friday with monthly Saturday shifts. We have 3 positions to fill in the ever growing team.

In the role as a Service Desk Analyst you will;

  • Support all 1st line IT queries for all Saint Gobain employees
  • Answer calls and logging calls on our ticketing system promptly and in a professional service led manner
  • Provide an efficient and personalised support service to our customers
  • Wherever possible, resolve and close calls at the point of first contact
  • Manage the IT Infrastructure Library issue lifecycle e.g. raising, escalating, incident management etc
  • Managing customer expectations

  • Experience of customer support
  • An interest within working in the IT industry
  • Excellent communication and people handling skills
  • A strong analytical & troubleshooting ability
  • A willingness to be flexible, especially with regard to shift working
