This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with an interest in IT to step into an On-Site Support Analyst position. This exciting role, based in Belfast, will see you supporting all IT Services and equipment managed and/or supported by our team. This role is a combination of touch and remote support and covers both core services and services specific to sectors/business units

The IT team manages the process for all 30+ UK businesses and 17,000 employees. We are hard-working, focused and passionate about what we do; this coupled with our customer-centric attitude makes for a successful team that is essential part of the Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland group.


What will I be doing in the role?

In the role as On-Site Support Analyst you will;

  • Respond to IT related support calls as assigned within Service Level Agreements
  • Provide a great customer experience by supporting our colleagues with any query they have
  • Ensure support calls are accurately logged, closed and analysed to prevent future occurrences
  • Ensure IT equipment remains secure and compliant in line with SGTS UK and Group DSI policies
  • Ensure all assigned project work is completed within allocated timescales to the required standard

For the On-Site Support Analyst specifically it is important that you have:

  • An in depth understanding and knowledge of Windows PCs in a business infrastructure environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Security updates, SCCM and McAfee Anti-Virus deployment and monitoring
  • Full UK Driving License - A company car will be provided as there would be travel required to support other sites in Northern Ireland
  • A good understanding of current PC technologies and the issues involved in supporting them
