How you will utilise your expertise?

This role is working with Saint-Gobain Technology Services (SGTS) where you will be responsible for the management of all staff within and services delivered by the Remote Support and On-Site Support Team. You will co-ordinate the activities of your teams across multiple locations to ensure the appropriate levels of service delivery to the businesses supported by SGTS.

 

In the role as a 2nd Line Support Manager you will;

  • Be responsible for coordinating activities within the teams to ensure the correct prioritisation of tasks in a service orientated approach
  • Manage the escalations for any incidents or service issues
  • Ensure training plans are in place to support departmental goals and analyst career development
  • Ensure IT equipment remains secure and compliant
  • Be responsible for the general management duties of teams as well as recruitment for the On-Site and Remote Support teams

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;

  • Experience within a similar type role
  • Experience with managing staff across multiple locations and sites
  • Demonstrable people management skills
  • A strong technical background – more so around Windows
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The willingness and flexibility to travel across our 3 main sites
