We are creating a brand new team of 2nd Line Support Analysts to join our digital function within Technical & Transition Services. Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, the purpose of this role is to minimise service disruption by providing support and maintenance of external facing services through the ownership and resolution of Incidents and Service Requests, performing routine maintenance and by undertaking project work as required

You will be joining a small but vibrant and supportive team. For the first few weeks you will be expected to come into the office 5 days for training as well as collaborating with other team members. Once you have found your feet, this role will be a hybrid role, working from home and office. 

Your New role

You will be the second point of contact for customers and suppliers, owning and resolving incidents, ensuring that effective communication with customers and suppliers is maintained throughout and business impact is understood and minimised. You will ensure that Service Requests assigned to team and own queue are fulfilled in a timely manner and that customers and suppliers are provided regular updates and notifications are sent when work is complete.

 

You will perform proactive monitoring of supported systems in order to identify any potential issues and minimise any potential disruption to the business, customers and suppliers, document processes, procedures and review documents written by other team members, providing feedback where required. You will also review documentation that is produced for new and upgraded systems covering post-live support phases.

 

What you need to be successful

You will have experience of providing 2nd line support within a customer facing environment. You will have an understanding of external facing services such as EDI systems, e-billing services and CRM, excellent problem solving skills. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

 

You can be working within a 2nd line capacity at the moment or you maybe a first line analyst looking for a step up in your career, we are looking for individuals who have an aptitude for IT and a desire to learn.
