As a Functional Designer with Saint-Gobain, you will define functionality, manage key configurations and provide Data Transformation & Reporting for existing and new core system software applications. Working with internal and external Quality Assurance teams, you’ll ensure software is fit for purpose, whilst maintaining systems integrity and security. You’ll also provide functional support to the technical and business analysis teams during proof of concept, system design and implementation project phases.

So if you have…

  • An in-depth understanding of how large software applications function and are delivered to a broad corporate user base.
  • Demonstrable experience in the configuration of complex IT systems and the definition of business / functional requirements.
  • Data Analysis experience providing design and production of application reporting and data transformation, preferably in an ERP environment.
  • Experience of working with data files and interfaces to a detailed level.
  • Application fault diagnosis and solution provision experience, ideally including programming, scripting and database querying.
  • Good analytical, communication, planning and time management skills.
  • The ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
  • The ability to handle pressurised situations in a calm and proficient manner.
  • Systems analysis and system testing skills – desirable
  • A full and valid driving license – essential, must be willing to travel as necessary.
