As a Digital - Agile Platforms Architect & Release Manager you will be responsible for the systems design, systems administration and technical/business usage of all Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) and cloud platform tools, used by c200 members of the SGBD Digital team, our partners and key stakeholders. The primary function of this role is to drive and manage SGBD usage of all agile platform tools through the agile life cycle. You will drive effective tracking, reporting, collaboration and communication through ALM tools (primarily Atlassian), supporting the varying needs of each project and identifying and shaping best practices and where relevant providing training to support and maintain digital best practices by designing, configuring & managing all ALM tooling for the SGBD business and Digital team.

So if you have…

  • Proven experience managing and controlling on-site and cloud instances of Jira and Confluence into an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in full setup and customization of Atlassian solutions, including Jira and Confluence within complex multi-site environments, that are including outside partners.
  • Experience customising security & access rules, along with integration with IAM/Access Control Management.
  • Pro-active solution design and problem-solving with regards to workflow management and configuration of both Jira and Confluence spaces and other ALM and digital platform tooling as determined by the Director of Digital Development.
  • Active coaching and training of users and super users and advocating tooling features to drive adoption of JIRA and confluence to compliment and assist in our digital delivery roadmap.
  • The ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language) and SQL queries.
  • The ability to construct reporting dashboards and MI to drive delivery insights and to work with project teams and the Digital App Managers to embed best practices into our digital processes.
  • Experience in managing Atlassian and other platform apps to support agile delivery methods especially a CI/CD development pipeline and goals of automating testing wherever commercially viable.
