This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our passionate and knowledgeable Technical Department as a Project Leader. This exciting role will see you lead cross functional project teams through a Stage and Gate process delivering new product and system innovations, raw material change and process efficiency projects.

 

What you’ll be doing as a Project Leader:

 

  • Lead business projects to a successful conclusion or quick effective kill by demonstrating best practice in leadership skills.
  • Define Projects to fit with business strategy through understanding the root of problem / customer requirements relative to products
  • Know and apply existing standard methods & develop new ones
  • Developing complex and scientific information into information which allows the business to make decisions
  • Make a significant contribution to capturing the knowledge of how and why our products and systems perform in the way they do.
  • Identify losses and use modern experimental design approaches to eliminate them.
  • Actively contributes to developing new safe working methods and to the compilation of the team annual safety plan.

What we’re looking for in a Project Leader:

  • Primary Degree in an appropriate scientific or engineering field with the possibility of a higher degree in a relevant specialist field or equivalent work experience.
  • Evidence of hands on flexible approach is essential.
  • Experience of scientific research methodologies, including literature survey, idea generation and prototyping.
  • Experience of leading projects in a multifunctional business/organisation.
  • Computer literate
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
