How will you support us?

This role is working with our insulation business where you will be responsible for proving a full HR partnering service to our manufacturing sites - mainly in Runcorn but with frequent travel to our other sites across the North. Here you will use your influencing and coaching skills to work collaboratively with managers to drive appropriate behaviours through the business

 

In the role as a HRBP you will;

  • Assist with the transformation of our two insulation businesses: Isover and Celotex
  • Lead on and manage all employee relations type activities
  • Partner with your internal stakeholders to advice and work on; succession planning, people review, recruitment and development – just to name a few!
  • Develop, lead & drive the people calendar and people agenda at our Runcorn site
  • Ensure health and wellbeing is being managed across the manufacturing sites
  • Build working relationships with your stakeholders over various business sites
  • Liaise and negotiate with Trade Union representatives/ officials
  • Update policies and procedures

 

What kind of person are we looking for?

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;

  • A good generalist HR knowledge and understanding of processes
  • The confidence to influence and effective communication skills at all levels – up to a director level
  • The confidence and communication skills with making decisions and judgements
  • The compassion to show support and collaborate with other team members
  • An understanding and experience of building good working relations

It would also be advantageous if you had the following, but is not essential:

  • Come from a manufacturing background – or similar
  • Have trade union or industrial relations experience
  • A CIPD qualification, or working towards a level 5
