The role is working on a 2-week rotational shift pattern (Week1 - Monday to Thursday 6am-3pm and then 6-2pm Friday, Week2 – Monday to Thursday 1pm-10pm and then 12-9pm Friday). No weekend or Bank Holiday working.

What impact will you have in this role?

This role provides leadership and support to the production teams to achieve optimum production performance and ensure all current/future systems and standards are realised and maintained.

 

  • You will contribute towards and ensure effective implementation of the Company EHS Management systems; ensure that all team members adhere to safety policies, procedures and regulations, especially those affecting their roles, including LOTO, PPE, JSA, Risk Assessments, CIL’s etc.

  • You will lead by example and develop a ‘quality’ culture amongst the site teams by ensuring that quality is actively reviewed at all levels of the process control system.  In addition, all reported quality issues/complaints are investigated and resolved, quickly and sustainably

  • You will support the development of a high-performance team environment through developing employee engagement, buy-in, commitment and flexibility.

  • You’ll drive the culture change required to ensure World Class Manufacturing (WCM) is embedded. Maximise the benefits derived from process improvements and ensure a smooth transition through the effective use of change management techniques.

  • You’ll set Production targets and develop the strategies to achieve specific targets. Implement and manage the processes required to achieve targets, in particular changes required to working practices.

  • Highly Health & Safety orientated and have a IOSH certificate

  • Have quality management system experience

  • Excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment whilst in a management position

  • Excellent people management skills with proven experience of leading and developing teams
