How will you support us?

This role is working with Glassolutions where you will be responsible for developing sales and maximising profitability through building successful relationships with customers and staff.  You will also be assist with the running and maintaining a safe, efficient and cost-effective branch.


In the role as an Assistant Branch Manager you will;


  • Oversee a team of up to 4 people and assist with management duties such as 121s, appraisal’s and development  
  • Assist with all branch running operations from serving customers, placing orders to raising invoices
  • Resolve any customer complaints or issues
  • Resolve day to day operational and customer service issues to ensure optimum service
  • Assistant and manage month end duties for the branch
  • Risk assess daily to ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the EHS Policy

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;

  • Experience within a similar role as an assistant manager or team leader
  • Experience from a similar type background from a manufacturer, factory or warehouse based environment
  • Excellent organisation skills – as this is a hands on role juggling various tasks
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A good understanding and awareness of Health and Safety practices
