Who are we ?

Then we have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Site Operations Manager such as yourself to join us at our multi-brand site (Jewson Civils & Minster) in Canterbury.

How will I utilise my skills and experience in the role?

As Site Operations Manager, you'll have full responsibility for our brands’ business procedures and health and safety on site. It’ll be up to you to drive operational excellence, ensuring we continuously achieve and exceed our high standards of customer service, whilst maintaining the lowest cost to service through logistical planning and effective storage. You’ll also play a vital role in coaching and developing the Branch Operations team to achieve and improve KPIs for the business.

Your day-to-day duties will involve:

  • Building a proactive health, safety and environment culture to ensure staff and customers are free from accidents and actively endorse a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Ensuring the standard set for operational KPI; Stock vitality, cost to serve, transport productivity, operational standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Maximise efficiency and productivity through the effective deployment of operational resources and staff.
  • Monitoring achievement of service levels, operating efficiencies, stock management and supporting administration, taking remedial action where required.

  • Analytical experience for analysing data and looking for areas of improvement.
