Do you have an eye for detail and thrive from working in a fast paced environment? If so, the International Timber Grangemouth Mill team are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Sawyer who prides themselves on their knowledge of Timber products.

In this fantastic role, you will be expected to operate a variety of woodworking machinery to deliver on bespoke customer orders within agreed time frames. You’ll also use your enthusiasm to advise customers on suitable timber products, keeping customer service top of the list whilst promoting and maximising sales.

As a Sawyer with International Timber, you will:

  • Operate all mill machinery (cross cutting saw, band resaw, moulding machine) efficiently and in a manner compliant with relevant safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepare incoming packs of timber ready for use in order to ensure efficient throughput of timber.
  • Advise the Mill Manager of any quality concerns regarding produced timber to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment to ensure product quality and EHS standards.

  • Have proven experience within a Timber Mill.
  • Have proven ability to operate machinery to comply with relevant ATOs, setting the correct specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Have fantastic Customer Service Experience and know what great service looks like, sounds like and feels like, that’s really important to us!
  • Can demonstrate awareness and understanding of health and safety standards applicable to working in a timber processing plant and timber storage and distribution site.
