You’ll be working for British Gypsum in Barrow-Upon-Soar. British Gypsum is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK.

There are some specific skills and experience that we are looking for from suitable candidates;

  • Previous experience in an administration role is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, comfortable and experienced in dealing with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Handling high volumes of work and the ability prioritising
  • IT literate to include databases and spreadsheets

Other skills that are desirable not essential

  • Previous experience of using SAP would be beneficial

What will I be doing in the role?

A great Administrator will help keep our business running smoothly and be a key member of the site they operate in for all colleagues. They are the person that organises and knows everything that is going in their area of responsibility and has a flexible approach to their work. To support the business you will;

  • To provide efficient and effective administration support to the Barrow-Upon-Soar Site.
  • To assist the Senior Administrator in facilitating the implementation and maintenance of administration procedures.
  • Responsible for the collation of reporting information and present it to a high standard, accurate in content and delivered on time.
  • Managing stationary, filing plant and personnel information, dealing with post coming in and going out and collating and disseminating site communications.
  • Represent the company as the first point of contact for customers and visitors over the phone and in person on site, acting in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Planning and execution of site events with professionalism and attention to detail.
