Position description
Job Purpose: Capacity balancing of the automotive float and cutting lines in Europe, planning coordination of automotive glass campaigns supporting the integration of the supply chain with the customer (Sekurit) and the development of efficient collaborative processes based on digital tools.
Main Missions:
- Organizes and coordinates the manufacturing campaigns of automotive glass (Automotive PLC, Venus, TSA) in the dedicated plants in Europe in collaboration with local supply chain teams.
He/she is accountable for the service (OTIF) to the automotive customers, while optimizing distribution and production costs thanks to an efficient planning.
He is supporting the sales development with internal (Sekurit) and external customers by ensuring the level of service corresponding to the automotive market standards.
In case of supply crisis, he defines the priorities in collaboration with the customer for the concerned plants and makes the necessary arbitrations to achieve them. - He/she is owning the tactical planning processes (Sales & Operation planning) of automotive float and cutting lines. He/she leads the meetings (Pré-CR, CR) related to this process and is thus in charge of:
- The collection, the update and consolidation of the raw glass needs forecast given communicated by the Sekurit plants, and the validation of the consolidated demand plan in close collaboration with his Sekurit central supply chain management team.
- The identification of potential issues (Service, shortage, overstock) within the planning horizon (1-3 months)
- The elaboration of balanced planning scenarios with proper actions (cessions, production plan adjustments) to be agreed with the concerned stakeholders (Planning managers)
- The implementation & follow-up of the agreed actions
- He/she leads the strategic planning processes (Budget and 3 years plan) for the automotive glass in order to optimize capacity and capex allocations on the long term.
- He/she defines the detailed product offer and the corresponding service charts of those products in close collaboration with Sekurit raw glass experts. He/she is the in charge of Product Life cycle (phase-in/phase-out) of the automotive products.
- As central contact point for Sekurit within Glass Industry, he/she plays a leading role in the integration of Glass Industry and Sekurit international supply chains:
- He/she attends the Sekurit tactical planning process; he plays there a key role in evaluating the glass supply related risks in Sekurit supply chain decision.
- He/she supports/promotes the implementation of digital ordering (EDI) and follow-up processes between Glass and Sekurit plants
- He/She contributes to the definition of the Supply Chain processes as per IATF (International Automotive Task force) management norm and ensures that the agreed standards are fulfilled.
- He/she is managing or taking part in dedicated projects for supply chain optimization like the development of tactical planning (S&OP) support tool, advanced scheduling system for the cutting and/or the float lines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master’s degree in supply chain, Engineering or Economics/Business administration,
APICS certification is a good asset
Knowledge /Technical competencies:
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain area, in an international environment
- Experience of Automotive and/or glass business is a strong asset
- Supply Chain knowledge for Planning/Supply Management and Customer Service
- Digital competencies: Office (especially Excel, Power query, PowerPoint) are required, at ease with BI (business intelligence tools), ERP/MRP
- Continuous improvement tools (WCM, Lean)
- English fluent

Job requirements:
- Dimensions:
European perimeter multinational business with few oversea interactions (North America and Asia).
Monitoring and coordinating planning for Glass manufacturing 4 plants, following up the supplies of 14 Sekurit sites.
- Travels / Mobility:
Multiple short trips within Europe (once per month)
Home office possible up to 40% of the time
