Saint-Gobain is seeking a Data Governance Enabler to enable the deployment of the global data governance framework within the group to achieve Saint-Gobain’s data objectives.

In this role, you will : 

  • Work closely with business and IT partners, maintaining good working-relationship, to identify data governance & quality improvement opportunities.
  • Apply the data governance & quality framework on use cases and map out processes to remediate data quality problems (Issue Management and Resolution), providing acculturation, guidance and advices to ensure process adherence and short or long-term objective achievement. It includes to drive efforts to develop and maintain data catalogs across data domains.
  • Contribute to the global data governance framework creation and updates.
  • Drives efforts to monitor data quality and ensure compliance with established standards and metrics.
  • Contribute to the requirements of data governance and quality tools, soliciting ongoing user feedback.
  • Provide content to feed communication events or knowledge center.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in data governance. 
  • Strong Leadership and Influencing skills; interacting with senior stakeholders; highly personable.
  • Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening and interviewing.
  • Results orientated to ensure change and delivery project metrics are meaningful and supported with robust business data.
  • Comfortable presenting complex data flows and relationships to non-data peers and colleagues.
