Saint-Gobain Abrasives is seeking a high‑energy and results‑driven Industrial Sales Representative to support and grow our British Columbia territory. This remote-based role offers an exciting opportunity to join a Top Employer and play a key role in driving commercial success within a mature, diverse, and growth-oriented customer base.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, commercially astute, and has a proven track record of success in industrial sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of account management activities, including selling, servicing, and growing an established industrial territory
  • Drive sales performance against established targets, with a strong focus on sustainable growth
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer and distributor relationships
  • Work closely with specialty, traditional industrial, and national distribution partners
  • Develop, propose, and implement sales growth programs and initiatives
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing and emerging markets
  • Maintain a strong physical presence within the territory to support customers and distribution partners
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and follow-up

Territory & Customer Base

The territory includes a mature and diverse customer base across industries such as:

  • Metal Fabrication
  • Aerospace
  • Specialty Distribution
  • Welding
  • Construction Products Distribution (CPD)
  • Forestry
  • Woodworking / Cabinetry
  • General Industrial End Users

Required Competencies & Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate distribution partners, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales budgets
  • Experience in industrial sales and marketing
  • Strong knowledge of industrial distribution and markets, including welding, MRO, and construction
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo with new ideas and approaches
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and disciplined follow‑up
  • High energy level, enthusiasm, and drive, with the ability to stay focused in a fast‑paced, multi‑initiative environment
  • Work environment: Remote on BC, ideally based in Vancouver

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates, the base pay range for this position is $65,210 to $75,920 per year. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is up to 60% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.
