As Business Development Manager Belgium,  you will play a key role in the development of bringing integrated building solutions of Saint-Gobain to the market in Belgium

You will:

  • Coordinate and do market analyses of the targeted market segments of the education market (schools), the renovation market and the healthcare segment
    • Market analyses, meetings with customers, research on market trends by and with external parties , …
  • Become an ambassador of the solutions of the multiple Saint-Gobain Business Units that come together in the building solutions approach of Saint-Gobain Solutions, being Isover (insulation materials), Gyproc (plasterboards), Weber & Strikolith NL (mortars), Building Glass, SG ceilings solutions of Ecophon, Eurocoustic and others
  • Translate the needs of the market and the solutions of Saint-Gobain into integrated building value propositions for our customers, taking into account performance, sustainability, logistical aspects etc
  • You will actively develop collaborations and bring together new partners to enrich our proposition, internally with Saint-Gobain companies and externally with start-ups and more established producers of solutions for the building market.
  • You will contribute to the establishment and implementation of the marketing communication year plan
  • You will target the entire market chain from architects and engineering bureaus to contractors and installers to bring forward the value proposition of Saint-Gobain Solutions

This business development role will allow you to grow in the heart of Saint-Gobains contribution to making the world a better home and can offer a springing board to an accelerated professional development in our Benelux organization. In order to support your development, you will be coached and offered appropriate training opportunities. You will report to the marketing manager Benelux of SG Solutions.


Your profile:

- Masters Degree (engineering or economics preferably)

- 3 to 5 years relevant working experience in a role in which you were transforming complex matter into a commercially attractive approach and / or managing multiple complex projects at a time (consultancy, advisory, sales management trainee, …)

  • You are analytical and have a commercial talent. You have strong communicative skills and advisory competencies, can work on helicopter view but also have rigor
  • You speak and write Dutch, French and English on a good professional level

We offer you a full and competitive compensation package (base and variable salary, full secondary package including a company car).

This role can be done in a 80%+ working schedule (with a Dutch or Belgian working contract depending on your location).
