With this acquisition, Saint-Gobain takes a logical step to reinforce its leadership in light and sustainable construction in the Canadian market. With Building Products of Canada, Saint-Gobain will be well positioned to better serve Canadian customers, to whom it will bring a broader innovative and sustainable range of solutions.

 

In support of this acquisition Building Products of Canada Corp., has an exciting career opportunity for a Paper Mill Production Operator. This position is located in Edmonton. Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for the production and quality of our paper products. You will be trained to work on various machinery and to follow various production protocols.

 

  • Probationary rate : $25.26/hr
  • After 640 hours: $26.01/hr.
  • After 1 year : $26.76/hr.

 

Schedule:

Rotating 8 Week Schedule – 6am to 6pm for two shifts followed by 6pm to 6am for two shifts and then four days off;

 

Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for the production and quality of our paper products. You will be trained to work on various machinery and to follow various production protocols.

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Forklift Experience
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 80lbs occasionally
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
